Varun Chopra (He/him) is a Vancouver & LA based creative. He is Sundance Institute's Ignite Fellow and Film Independent Screenwriting lab fellow.
Born and raised in New Delhi, Varun graduated from LMU School of Film and Television in Los Angeles.
He has created brand defining films and award winning campaigns for major international brands. His recent HSBC campaign starring Priyanka Chopra amassed 668M + views on instagram and 1B+ across socials. His film for Google's Gemma launched one of the brand's key product at Google i/O 2024.
Varun is a Young Directors Award (YDA at Cannes Lion) recipient and has spearheaded multi-stakeholder campaigns, creating and directing an array of projects across continents. His clients span the world of advertising, branded films, design and ethical philanthropy.
